Dominic Cobb is an spy who instead of breaking into a person's home, office, or even computer, gets the information he needs by getting into the person's mind through their dreams. Cobb is also a fugitive who misses his children. Someone approaches Cobb and wants to hire him but instead of getting information out, the man wants Cobb to implant something, a process called "inception", which is not easy to do. Cobb is hesitant to do it, but when the man offers to help Cobb go back to his children, Cobb agrees. So he assembles his team but when they begin, there are things Cobb didn't tell his team that could jeopardize the job, and when they occur, they're not sure if they should continue

An amazing story about a relatively less explored topic in cinema, the relationship between dream and reality.
On the other hand the dream world does not look very 'realistic' to me. Of course 'realistic' in comparison to actual dream world we humans have. It seemed still too rationally structured. It more looks like a parallel dimension with a little different physical laws than a dream world with no rational (rational in the sense of coherent) rules at all. In that aspect David Lynch is the true master of dream world.
Inception can also be seen as a doom scenario that shows the colonization of one of the last remnants of "no man's land" in our civilization, the dream world. What once used to be a battleground of our unconscious drives and desires becomes a battleground of energy corporations. But than again, maybe today our energy corporations are in fact embodiment of our unconscious drives and desires? After all if in the above sentence we bracket "corporation" we will get just "energy" which in a way is just another word for drive or desire.

Obviously, Leo is one of the best of all time and my favourite actor. Can't get enough.
